My name is Jeremias Corona, but you can call me Mias. Like you, I’m not just one thing; I do a lot of different things. This website is here to showcase some of them, like photography and video. Years ago, I wrote in my journal a goal that was going to happen: to support myself off of the things I loved doing, and none full-time. I’ve always been drawn to change, variety, and the endless possibilities of the journey. Life, to me, is an infinite game, and I’m here to keep playing.
I have been doing photography since 2012, although there is a photo of me with a camera at the age of 5. So technically I have been doing photography for almost all of my life. The curiosity and unexplainable draw of photography has always been with me, and over the years has grown and evolved.
I started editing videos in middle school where I took a broadcasting class. We learned how to use a camera, how to edit, and also how to run the morning news show that would come on every morning in homeroom. I happened to be the weather man my second year of taking broadcasting. This experience was incredible as the skills of video editing I learned, I took with me all the way till the present. Creating is about putting pieces together, its about seeing something that doesn’t exist yet, and making it real.
Then there’s tile work—something I picked up in 2014 to support myself. What started as a way to get by became a whole new form of self-expression. Building a shower or installing a backsplash isn’t just about precision; it’s about making something that lasts. It’s art, just like photography or film, but it lives in someone’s everyday life.
And eventually I started my own construction company and as a licensed general contractor have had the experience of being able to use my photography and videography skills to brand my business and to create a world unique to itself.
I have experience in running and producing a podcast which has been a great experience as I have used my skills interacting with people on a direct one on one, the most simple form of human communication, sometimes a lost art. Every connection and story, every moment in time has beautiful potential to be art.
To me, creation, whatever form it may be, is about bringing things together to tell a story. I would love to help you tell yours.
